No Need for New Driver's License Records
Some motor carriers don't have to provide new driver's license records during their annual driver review. This is
because many states allow companies to put drivers into a license monitoring system. This system notifies a
carrier if one of their driver's CDL status changes. A status change means they get a suspension or if they get a
speeding ticket. Thanks to these systems companies won't have to show MVRs (Motor Vehicle Reports) as long as
the company creates an MVR if a driver's CDL record changes. Everything else for annual reviews will still take
place.
